At GMD, we understand that people come in broken, tired, and hopeless and we make it our mission to remind them of who they are, what they are worth, and what’s waiting for them on the other side.
Our team is comprised of medical professionals, therapists, case managers, technicians, and other ancillary staff that make it their priority to make our clients feel like family from day one. Our clients’ journey starts at one of our detox facilities that offers truly individualized care around the clock. Detoxing can be more than unpleasant and GMD staff work tirelessly to keep clients comfortable. At Green Medical Detox, all meals are careful crafted by our trusted catering partners to include nutritious, healthy food choices. Each day, clients are motivated to engage in our clinical programming schedule, which includes psychoeducational groups as well as activities such as NA/AA meetings, yoga, music therapy, and movie night, facilitated by mental health and recovery professionals with many years of experience in the field. Additionally, patients are able to enjoy recreational activities which include basketball, billiards, ping-pong, backyard games, and more.
Once medically stabilized, our clients move on to our outpatient facility where they will spend a minimum of 30 days gathering the tools and skills they need to stay sober. The clinical programming is continued with a greater emphasis on what it means to live a clean and sober life. Sobriety is surely about reconnecting with your true self but mostly about becoming and staying connected with others. At GMD outpatient facility, clients will continue their recovery journey by learning the 12-step fellowship model and creating new, healthier relationships with like-minded peers in treatment and in the “rooms” of NA and AA. During this time, they’ll be living in a community setting where they will learn how to carry responsibility and accountability for a structured, mature lifestyle ahead.
At Our Drug Alcohol Detox Center, each client that walks through our doors is given a second chance, and we don’t mind even giving them a third or a fourth.
